Further InformationThe cast of the opening night is verified. Kyveli Adrianou played Nora and Thomas Oikonomou Dr. Rank in all performances. Dionysis Venieris and Eleni Lizeti took over the roles as Nils Krogstad and Helene respectively on 11, 16 and 21 July 1912. Nikos Papageorgiou took over the role as Torvald Helmer on 29 November 1914. All other cast information is not verified. The Helmer’s three children were often interpreted by the three children of Kyveli Adrianou: Alexandros Myrat, Miranta Myrat and Aliki Theodoridou-Nor (according to a testimony of Miranta Myrat). It’s not confirmed in which performances they participated. The company of Kyveli Adrianou performed the play, without a director, for the first time on 2 October 1907. This production, with Thomas Oikonomou as director, was revived in 1926. Source: Giannis Moschos, Henrik Ibsen on the Greek stage.
