/ The production was part of an Ibsen cycle which comprised Hedda Gabler, A Doll’s House, Pillars of Society, Ghosts, The Wild Duck, Rosmersholm, An Enemy of the People and Peer Gynt. The cycle was given twice in the spring of 1918 and twice in the autumn of 1918. An Enemy of the People was given on 9 May as the seventh performance in cycle no. 1, on 11 May as the fifth performance in cycle no. 2 and on 19 November 1918 as the fourth performance in the autumn’s cycle no. 2.
