Event Hedda. Una re-immaginazione di Hedda Gabler di H. Ibsen
Print | Go to Admin
DescriptionThe show staged at the Maddalene Theater offers a rewriting in which, as Bubnic explains in the preface, Hedda tries to assert her freedom and autonomy, trying to live as she wishes. The action takes place in a world dominated by the underworld, the amphetamine trade and real estate speculation, sectors traditionally ruled by men. Here, however, it is Hedda who emerges as a figure of power. Or perhaps, more simply, it is she who has a "hunger" for success and domination that makes her able to overwhelm everything that stands in her way.
