| Description | This work created by the director Massimo Navone is inspired by six different Ibsen's plays: Ghosts, A Doll's house, The Lady from the sea, Hedda Gabler, Love's Comedy and When We Dead Awaken. Set in a fictional Norwegian town, in this adaptation a number of characters (Nora, Hedda, Torvald, Falk, Ellida, Brack, Wangel, Irene, Manders, Rubek, Helene, Svanhild) find themselves celebrating midsummer. At one point, each couple reaches a specific point on the stage; here, the past conflicts that characterize the story of the couple are represented and explored. The main focus on each story is the role of Ibsen's women, who are in in the crosshairs of a contradictory society. | ||
