Event Hedda Gabler

DescriptionThe Hungarian director Kriszta Székely, associated artist of the TST, rewrites and updates one of the greatest texts of the late nineteenth century. The background against which the story takes place is that of a world in crisis, where everyone sees money as the only source of salvation, the greatest fear is that of losing one's social status and love and personal relationships crumble day by day. But can you live without feelings and without ideals? This is the dilemma around which the characters in the drama revolve and this is the question that besieges the protagonist. Ambivalent and complex, Hedda is one of the most charismatic, feverish and seductive characters in dramatic literature: she is haughty, cold and almost detached, she is fully aware of the lies and hypocrisy of others, but she is unable to truly distance herself from them. In her aristocratic arrogance she appears solid and it seems that she really lacks nothing, except the essentials.
