| Notes | Teatro Gayarre opend in 1841 under the name Teatro Principal. In 1903 the the theatre changed it's name to Teatro Gayarre (the Gayarre Theatre) in memory of the Roncal tenor who died in 1890. From the moment the demolition of the city walls gave way to the expansion of Pamplona, the life of the coliseum was in danger, until it was demolished in 1931 and moved to the place where it is today, on Avenida Carlos III. |
