DescriptionA political and moral conflict opposes two brothers in the story: the doctor who discovers the pollution of the thermal waters of his city, in contrast to his brother, the politically compromising mayor, who vainly tries to convince him that his denunciation will put an end to the collective dreams of well-being. 'What to do? Shut down the baths while waiting for a cleanup – with the resulting economic damage – or persist in promoting them, ensuring the development of the whole city? Two visions: that of Dr. Tomas Stockmann, advocate for closing the baths, and his brother, Mayor Peter Stockmann,' explains Massimo Popolizio.
