Gåten: Et dukkehjem |
Description | Gåten: Et dukkehjem is a gamified version of Ibsen's A Doll's House where the audience is placed in the midst of the unfolding story between Nora and Torvald. Christmas is approaching, but in the mailbox lies something that can ruin Nora. Her only way out is to empty the mailbox before Torvald discovers what is inside. The problem is, she doesn't know the code. In 45 minutes, the audience work through a series of tasks, which continuously lead them closer to the goal. Along the way, they interact with the story, Ibsen's text, the characters, and performed scenes. In the end, they come away with knowledge about A Doll's House, as well as an understanding of Nora's reason for leaving her husband and children. The presentation follows Ibsen's dramaturgy, and information is revealed in the same sequence as in the original drama. The audience must read from the script and listen to dialogues. Additionally, scenes between Nora and Torvald are performed along the way. |
