DescriptionHenrik Ibsen's drama A Doll's House, written in 1879, tells the story of Nora, who finds the courage to confront her fears. She frees herself from a coexistence in which she was forced to maintain the glittering facade of a dependent doll and sets out into an uncertain future.Director Leonie Böhm uses the reactivation of classical texts to work on radically open interactions - courageous, present and vulnerable. In her Gorki debut, she dares to break out of the dollhouse with Julia Riedler and Svenja Liesau, passionately dismembering Ibsen's classic of emancipation and stepping on shaky ground. Courage and fear are two sides of the same coin.
