/ The production was part of an Ibsen cycle which comprised Hedda Gabler, A Doll’s House, Pillars of Society, Ghosts, The Wild Duck, Rosmersholm, An Enemy of the People and Peer Gynt. The cycle was given twice in the spring of 1918 and twice in the autumn of 1918. Pillars of Society was performed on 15 April 1918 as the third performance in cycle no. 1, on 3 May 1918 as the third performance in cycle no. 2 and on 4 November 1918 as the eighth performance in the autumn’s cycle no. 1.
