DescriptionHelena Alving is happy because her son Osvaldo has just returned from a trip, whom she took away from home for many years so that he wouldn't know about his father's debauched life. She managed to hide her husband's vices not only from her son, but also from the entire city. Now that he has died, an orphanage will be opened in her honor and, with that, Helena hopes to bury the terrible past. However, the ghosts of the past do not disappear with lies and omissions.
