Event A Doll’s House

DescriptionA quarantine-themed adaptation of A Doll’s House. The 90-minute feature film was shot remotely on cell phones and edited by award-winning filmmaker Anna Gamarnik. Most of the scenes are two-character exchanges, and that kind of simplicity really suits this Zoom-like format. It’s about people connecting with each other, looking for change and growth in the other. The play is very adapted. Everything’s changed but all the underlying themes are the same as in Ibsen's play. This version of the play doesn't include the nanny, a maid, a porter and three kids.
