Event Hedda
Print | Go to Admin
DescriptionThe story of Hedda Gabler is rewritten in a contemporary key by Clio C. Buren from the protagonist's point of view : set in our time, it talks about us, about social relationships polluted by the vice of success at any cost, and about the shipwreck of love. The text is a complete, ironic and dramatic rewriting , which retains only some elements of the plot from the original. The characters are children of our time, as are the language they speak, and their motives. The story takes place in the living room of the newlyweds' home, on a single day, on the first day after returning from their honeymoon.
