| Description | Something is brewing in a tranquil spa somewhere in Europe: spa doctor Tomas Stockmann discovers that the water is contaminated and urges a remedy. His brother, the mayor of the town, on the other hand, warns of the consequences for the finances of the small community. The fraternal dispute becomes an area of tension between truth, freedom and politics, in which Tomas Stockmann's family, the press and representatives of the middle class also take positions relate.
