Description"Peer Gynt" is a fantastical play that follows the brash and insatiable Peer as he travels from the Norwegian mountains to the African deserts and back searching for himself. Trolls, reindeer rides, strange beings, and more abound in this epic, which is based on Norwegian folklore. Audiences may recognize the play from the famous “In the Hall of the Mountain King” music composed by Edvard Grieg, inspired by Peer’s interaction with the Troll King.
